30th May BookaTrack Corporate Event Donington

Friday saw back in the passenger seat of one the famous BAT Caterham R300’s. This was a busy corporate event that was hosted by Paul O’Neil (current ITV Touring Car commentator). Incorporated within a normal track day, the action comes thick and fast. We have to brief and coach the drivers and then accompany them out on track. We are normally allocated 3 drivers per car and usually stick with the same people all day. This gives us a great opportunity to build a good rapport with the client & to see them progress throughout the day. I had a very enjoyable day apart from being deposited in the gravel trap at Redgate corner: no harm down just another jacket to wash after being peppered by stones!!
