31st May Oulton Park Race Day North West FF1600

Saturday saw DB Motorsport over at Oulton Park for the running of the latest round of the BRSCC’s Nothern FF1600 Championship. Today was the first time we had 2 cars out: Will Alterman in his Reynard and Dave Billington in his Van Diemen. Both cars were entered in the very popular pre-90 class and both had elected to take part in the invitation race that saw pre & post cars running together. We had an amazing day with both drivers achieving personal milestones:  Dave Billington bettered his previous best lap time and had 2 great races passing several cars in both outings. Will finished 2nd overall in the pre-90 section of the invitation race and had 2 really close battles. Both drivers thoroughly enjoyed themselves and both cars ran faultlessly throughout and came back in one piece : what a bonus !!
